People will try to tell you that these are inspired by Michael Jordan's time playing for the Birmingham Barons baseball team, but let's be honest—there's no coincidence that these bear more than a passing resemblance to the Dior Jordan 1s from a few years back.
With the icey outsole and Dior-branded Swoosh removed these become an arguably better-looking shoe. Lord knows the retail price is much better, sitting at 10x less than the Dior joints and considerably less again than their resale price.
The make-up is pretty standard for an AJ1, there's not much to write home about on that front. It's just a pair of shoes which look good and you'll get plenty of wear out of. Simple.
